VLT®HVAC Drive FC102 IP20 Graphical

VLT®HVAC Drive FC102 IP20 Graphical is designed to bring optimised process control to all heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. Easy to use and with built-in intelligence, the drive is fast and cost-effective to commission. It features a wide range of functions specifically developed for use with, for example, pumps, fans and compressors to save energy, meet environmental regulations and reduce costs in modern buildings.

The compact design of the VLT® FC102 HVAC Drive and its efficient heat management system means it is ideal for applications where drive space is restricted.  A selection of safety features, such as Safe Torque Off and Safe Maximum Speed, protect both applications and their operators.

Maximum uptime is ensured as this robust drive offers problem-free operation in harsh environments. Enclosures are available up to IP 66 (depending on the model). And a special coating is available as an option to provide extra protection for circuit boards. Integrated DC chokes and RFI filters safeguard installations by minimising harmonic distortion and electromagnetic interference.

VLT® FC101 – IP54

Optimized efficiency and intelligent cooling technology ensure compact and service-friendly design. Supplementary equipment such as EMC filters and harmonics suppression are integrated into the ultra compact enclosure.

The installation volume and/or the mounting surfaces are minimized. The functional sections nevertheless fulfil the highest requirements even for applications with ambient temperatures up to 50° C.

VLT® FC101 – IP20

Due to its ultra compact design, the VLT® HVAC Basic Drive is easily mounted inside a HVAC unit or panel, reducing overall enclosure costs. The standard integrated DC coils comply with EN 61000-3-12 reducing losses in mains and ensuring reliable operation in the whole grid. The DC coils increase the lifespan of the DC link capacitors and they also ensure that the drive can operate motors to their full performance. Integrated DC coils save the cost for adding external filters.

Efficient, basic control of fans and pumps in HVAC applications

Optimised for basic operation of pumps and fans, the VLT® HVAC Basic Drive (FC101) is supplied with built-in functions that reduce initial costs and increase productivity.

The drive is the most compact unit in its class. Integrated DC coils reduce harmonics to an absolute minimum, and the Automatic Energy Optimizer saves 15-20% energy from the second you turn it on.
